It's easy to add an FTP test to an existing class plan or build an FTP test into a new class plan.

To add an FTP test to an existing class plan:

  1. Log in to StagesCloud.com using your credentials.
  2. Scroll down the left-hand side menu and click on PLANS under INSTRUCTOR. Your instructor dashboard appears, showing all your class plans.
  3. Click on any class plan to add an FTP test to it.
  4. Click on the PENCIL icon in the top right corner to edit the plan.
  5. Choose the interval that will become the FTP test in the class plan, then click on ADD TEST.
  6. In the pop-up window, select the test length, then click on SAVE.
  7. Change the interval following the FTP test to a recovery interval.
  8. To save the changes, click on NEXT.
  9. Rename the plan, or use the existing plan name, then click on SAVE.


To build an FTP test into a class plan:

  1. Log in to StagesCloud.com using your credentials.
  2. Scroll down the left-hand side menu and click on PLANS under INSTRUCTOR. Your instructor dashboard appears, showing all your class plans.
  3. Click on CREATE PLAN in the upper right corner.
  4. Click the PLUS icon in the bottom right corner to add a warm-up interval, then select the appropriate color zone and time.
  5. Continue to build the class plan by adding intervals, changing the color zone, and adjusting the time.
  6. Add the interval that will become the FTP test. With that interval highlighted, click on ADD TEST.
  7. In the pop-up window, select the test length, then click on SAVE.
  8. The FTP test appears in the plan, indicated by the LIGHTNING icon above it.
  9. Continue to build your class plan. 
  10. To save the plan, click on NEXT.
  11. Type in the name for the plan, review the plan, then click on SAVE.
